<p>The controversy seemed to die down by the time he gave his speech. There really isn&#8217;t anything controversial about it.</p>
<p>In his speech, the president urged students to preserver and keep trying. He stressed how important school work is and how lucky a lot of us are for having parents that went to college.</p>
<p>The speech particularly inspired me when he talked about working hard on your homework even when you don&#8217;t understand why you are doing a particular assignment. To paraphrase him, an assignment may seem useless, but if you try, you may discover that you have a hidden talent that will help you succeed later in life.</p>]]></content:encoded>
